Despite the latest decline in the Equity indices the VIX Index shows that most only has reached a state of indifference. We are likely close to a minor low of the first decline in DJI and that could bring the VIX back lower towards complacency, but I still think most investors are in for a big surprise and this minor rally will turn out to be a correction only and more downside pressure will be seen after this correction.
